• Training for all staff in specific emergency procedures.

• Three staff members on yard duty during all recesses and lunchtimes.

• First aid bags carried by all yard duty teachers to deal with that small mishap.

• Individual emergency plans developed for those students with special medical needs

• Curriculum support establishing "playground rules" and expected behaviour.

• Extreme weather policy for wet and hot days, where children are supervised indoors.

• All classrooms air conditioned and heated.
